About the event

Maxillofacial rehabilitation has always been a technique-sensitive art, relying heavily on manual labor and long, uncomfortable impression sessions for the patient.

This Masterclass changes that by shifting the complexity from the laboratory bench to a predictable virtual environment.

We will guide you step-by-step through converting complex CT/CBCT imaging data into usable 3D models using open-source segmentation tools.

You will get hands-on experience mastering symmetry and mirroring techniques to design highly accurate ear, nasal, and orbital prostheses.

Instead of traditional flasking, we will dive into digital mold design, creating 3D-printed rigid matrices that allow you to inject and characterize medical-grade silicones directly.

By standardizing this software pipeline, you will drastically minimize clinical steps, elevate prosthetic aesthetics, and provide an incredibly streamlined, dignified treatment experience for patients recovering from trauma or oncology interventions.
